Basic Wiki Instructions!

It's very easy to make changes to this system!
At the bottom of every page is a link that says _Edit text of this page_. Click on this link, and you will see an edit box that shows you the text for the page. You can make your changes here! It's very simple!
After you have edited the page, be sure to first click on the "Preview" button! Never forget to check your web page before you save it! If it is not what you want, edit the text again, and then click "Preview". When you are satisfied, then click "Save".
You might also see a page that has small linked question marks, like this:_?_ This means that a page has not yet been written for this link. Click the question mark, and help create a new page!
Here are some things you can do within your web page:
Put text in triple single quotes: '''Bold Text''' looks like this: Bold Text
Put text in double single quotes: ''Italics Text'' looks like this: Italics Text
Create Large Font Text
(Known as header text in HTML)
Put text in one or more equal signs. For example:
=Biggest text (H1) in single equal signs=
Biggest text in single equal signs
==Double equal signs for big (H2) text==
Double equal signs for large text
===Triple equal signs for third level header (H3) large text===
Triple equal signs for third level header (H3) large text
======Six equal signs for sixth level header (H6) smallest text======

Create links to new pages
One of the easiest ways to create new pages in the system is to find an existing page, and make a link to the new page that you want to create. After you make the link, and save the page, when the page refreshes, you'll see the text you added with a small ? after it. The question mark is your invitation to click, and create the initial text for the new page.
- Simple MixedCase (Search for MixedCase) word links can be created by using MixedCase (Search) (Search for MixedCase (Search)) words. (This is also called CamelCase (Search for CamelCase) (Search for CamelCase (Search)).) Any single word that starts with upper an case letter, followed my a lowercase letter, and then some more letters, at least one of which is uppercase, will become a link to a a new page. If you are the first to think of writing this mixed case word, then you'll see the _?_ behind the word. Click on the question mark to edit the new page!
- Any single word links can also be used to make any single word into a link to a page of the same name. Just put the word inside a pair of nested square brackets. For example, [[page]]
The link will look like this: page (Search for page).
- You can also put multiple words in the double brackets, to create a longer page name. For example:
[[Some Of My Bookmarks And Favorites]]
The link will look like this: Some Of My Bookmarks And Favorites . It created a link to [/Some Of MyBookmarks And Favorites]?Create on this site.
- If you want the link to have different text than the name of the page, you can do this by using a vertical bar inside the brackets, like this:
[[CollaborativeProject|Collaborative Project]]
It will look like this: [Collaborative Project]?Create|Search (Search for Project).
- You can also create links to web pages on other sites. You can just make a link to another site by typing it's url. For example,
http://www.garnetchaney.com
created a link to that website.
- Optionally, you can use single quotes like this to create foot note style links:
[http://www.sarahsbookstores.com] [http://bookstore.angelbook.us]
creates these links: [1] [2]
These links will be automatically numbered through out the page.
- You can also create links to web pages on other sites, but use some text other than the naked URL. Do this by adding a space, and the extra text, after the single bracketed URL, like this:
[http://www.sarahsbookstores.com Sarah's Bookstores]
creates this link: [Sarah's Bookstores]
Embed HTML
Just put your HTML between HTML tags, like this:
<HTML> html goes here! </HTML>
This will, of course, look like this:
htmlgoes here!
Create lists
Create a series of lines that begin with a * character. For example:
* First Item
* Second Item
* Third Item
This will look like this:
- First Item
- Second Item
- Third Item
