Caller: Raf Pietrzak. I decided to run the JunkBusters?Create script on him. He was real cooperative about his name and phone number of his company. But then I got the money questions, (the second group of 7 questions on the script), and he got real confused.
- 1. Would I be on their do not call list for 10 years - doesn't know about this.
- 2. Does your company have the written policy? He didn't know about this. Said he works directly for marin independent journal... Imagines they might have the policy on paper written down... "We bought the federal list, take those numbers out of our list, and when someone requests to be taken off our own list, we do that too."
- 3. Can he send me a copy of it? My responsibility is sales. You should call back. Not aware of the exact policies.
- 4. Supervisor: Steve Lenzy.
- 6. Are you calling for a tax-exemplt nonprofit organization? He thought this question was funny. I told him I was just going through my script.

Now speaking with the supervisor.
He kept insisting to know if I was on the Federal do not call list. I informed him that doesn't matter, the federal Do Not Call registry is administered by the FTC. I am making my inquiries under a different rule, the TCPA by the FCC, that is a separate set of rules they are required to follow. His response:
"It doesn't really matter...."
He said they do have a written do not call policy, it is given to all the people who work for them. But he refused to send it out.
HR - says I have to call human resource. 883-8600. He thought I should ask for Sharon. Regular business hours: 8am - 6pm monday through Friday.
